For the second year in a row, The San Pedro Sun has conducted its Take your BEST shot competition. We are proud to announce that it was a raving success. A big “Thank you” goes out to all those who took the time to submit your photographs. With so many entries it was difficult to choose our top three winners. We send out our most sincere thank you to our three judges who had the hardest task at choosing a winner.

    Winners are as follows:

  • 1st place – General – Tommy and Sonia from Caye Caulker with their photo “Pelican”. They won a brand new digital camera courtesy of CELLULAR WORLD. The camera was valued at $450 and came equipped with an MPEG4 player as well as a walkman. Congratulations.
  • 2nd place – People – Leonardo Melendez with his photo of “Garifuna”. He won a 20 x 30 poster sized print of his photograph courtesy of BELICOLOR.
  • 3rd place – Landscape – Cullen Walker with his aerial shot of “Turtle Man’s House”. He won an 8 x 10 sized print of his photograph courtesy of MOUSE PAD.
As an additional gift, the three winners will also receive a t-shirt with their photograph embedded unto the shirt courtesy of EZEE TEES.
